Backup and Disaster Recovery Plans
Standard Plan
The Standard Plan provides online backup and restore functionality for an unlimited number of desktop/laptop PCs and servers. A lightweight client program is installed on each machine, and can be configured to back up selected files, folders and system state information on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. Mapped drive support is also included.
Premium Plan
The Premium Plan is a unique solution which includes a local NAS (network-attached storage) device which automatically backs itself up over the internet. Simply copy data onto the device, which then compresses, encrypts and transfers your data to a secure offsite data centre. The data is then replicated to a second data centre located thousands of kilometres from the first. The end result is that your data is safe and sound in three separate locations, making a complete data loss event virtually impossible.
With the local NAS device providing its own processing resources for offsite backup, there is no performance impact on your local PCs or servers. Should there be a data loss event, we will help you recover quickly using either the local NAS device or one of the remote data centres. We will monitor the device for you over the internet, and be automatically notified in the event of any problems. We will also provide and configure the backup software to copy data from your servers or workstations to the NAS device. Our software can be setup to copy data files only, entire hard drive images including software and settings, or both.

*Server virtualization is a service option which provides complete protection for your servers. In the event of a server failure, the local NAS device can be configured as a virtual server within minutes, duplicating the data and services of the failed server. If a disaster strikes your business location and the local NAS device is destroyed or damaged, we can activate a virtual server from one of the remote data centres, over the internet. Server virtualization provides you with complete business continuity, allowing you and your employees to get back to work almost immediately.
